2023/24 Season of NPFL Starts this Weekend as Clubs Get N20m Take off Grant
The Nigeria Professional Football League for 2023/ 24 season will kick off this weekend.
This announcement was made in an official communication to all 20 clubs by the NPFL board
The league body also declared that all the clubs will receive a 20 million Naira take-off grant.
Matches involving CAF Confederation Cup campaigners Rivers United FC and Bendel Insurance FC will be put on hold, due to their continental engagements this weekend.
Rivers United will entertain Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso in the second leg of their second round match at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday.
While Bendel Insurance will travel to Morocco for their second-leg clash against former champions, RS Berkane.
