We Have Lost Adamawa Again- Buhari’s Aide, Bashir Ahmad Reacts To Gov. Fintiri’s Victory

Reactions have continued to trail the declaration of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri as Govenernor-elect of Adamawa State.

Fintiri was declared winner on Tuesday evening after polling the highest number of votes to defeat his closest rival, Aisha Binani in the just concluded governorship election in the state.

Having been declared, the governor will now retain his seat for a second term of four years in the State. At the end of his second spell as governor he would have spent a total of we eight years in office.

However, the election didn’t just come and go without some skemishes that created a major controversies in the public. It was a political event filled with drama, theateric displays and constitutional breakdown all in the name of trying to circumvent the process for a political gains.

With the final announcement of the incumbent governor as winner, many Nigerians have taken to social media to express their opinions on the development.

Reacting to the announcement, Bashir Ahmad, Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communication lamented the loss of Adamawa State by his party, All Progressive Congress.

He said: “We have lost Adamawa again.

He made this known immediately after the announcement on his verified twitter handle.
