Breaking: Naira Marley Back In Nigeria, To Help Police In Investigation of Mohbad’s Death

Singer Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, who has been in the eye of the storm over the death of his former record label signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka MohBad has just arrived the country and has been taken into custody by the police.

He had earlier assured all concerned Nigerians through his social media handles that he was ready to come back to Nigeria to assist the Nigerian Police in their probe of the death of Mohbad, if they could guarantee his safety.

The singer via his tweeter handle wrote, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole.

“I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail,” he wrote.

MohBad died on September 12 at age 27.
