Photos Of Borno State Hisbah Command Official, Shaving Off Youths’ Hair Go Viral

Nigerian youths residing in Borno state are currently in for a tough time with the Northern wing of security agency fondly known as Hisbah in the North.

The local security group had on Monday reinstated its commitment to deal with anyone trying to compromise the moral standards of the state through their mode of dresses or physical appearance.

Part of the commitment was the decision to shave off some people’s haircuts which were made to celebrate the Eid-Fitri.

According to the state deputy commandant, Mallam Abdurrahaman Musa, the Islamic police decided to shave their hair because they believe the haircut is against the good moral, culture and believe of the people of Borno state.

Photos of different haircuts being shaved off were posted on Facebook which has since attracted reactions from Nigerians.

In a statement released by the commandant, the Hisbah army is determined to see how the Youths are bringing out appropriate behaviours during the prayer ceremony.

The statement read, “Hisbah army in Borno state has conducted sa’ido and care of the youths men and women during Eid celebration.

“The army is determined to see how the youth are bringing out new inappropriate behaviors during the prayer ceremony.

“In view of the government’s order to go home to the zoo where she shaved many youths, most of them are underage children.

“According to D.C.O Mal. Abdurrahaman Musa “the barbering on the children’s hair is against the good morals and culture of Borno State.”
