With first ever world summit on the danger of Artificial Intelligence that took a global attention in the UK, US vice president, Kamala Harris has laid out her vision on how the world should govern the technology.

Harris while delivering her speech on Wednesday urged the international community to focus on the full spectrum of AI risk including bias and discrimination.

The two days summit facilitated by British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak is aimed at x-raying the dangers of Artificial Intelligence and deliberate on pragmatic measures to prevent its impending occurrence.

More than 25 Countries and tech executives are said to have been converged in Bletchley Park, England to brainstorm in what is widely described as the first Western move to manage its safe development.

The White House had recently released an Executive Order on the development entitled: Safe , Secure and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence.

Fully armed with the executive order, Kamala Harris highlighted the comprehensive domestic action the Biden administration is taking on the use of Artificial Intelligence which includes new binding guardrails on the most advanced forms of the emerging tech which American companies dominate.

“There is a need for international community to focus on the full spectrum of Artificial Intelligence risks, including existing threats like bias and discrimination. Let us be clear, there are additional threats that also demand our action. Threats that are currently causing harm, and which to many people also feel existential,” Harris conclude.
