Six people have reportedly lost their lives in a fatal accident involving a truck and a Mazda bus marked EPE 440 YG, on Tuesday.
It was gathered that the accident happened at the car park turning, opposite Redemption Camp, on the most busiest highway in the country.
According to the Public Relations Officer, Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, six other persons sustained varying degrees of injuries in the auto crash.
The driver of the Mazda bus was reported to be on top speed and rammed into a truck making a U-turn.
The driver of the truck was said to have fled the scene, immediately the incident occured.
He stated that 15 people were involved in the accident, saying that six people were injured while six people died.
Akinbiyi explained that the deceased were deposited at Idera Morgue, Sagamu and Famobis Hospital, Mowe while the injured were taken to RCCG and Famobis hospitals respectively.
