Ex-Kaduna Senator Reveals How Int’l Agencies Gave Lectures,Training On Election But Had No Clue About Thugery, Vote Buying 

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has revealed how the international agencies provided lectures and training before the election in Nigeria without knowing about the existence of political thugs in the country.

The former Senator who contested the People’s Democratic Party’s governorship ticket at the primary but lost to a rival candidate has been regular on social media in his political analysis since the commencement of this electioneering process.

Taking to his verified Twitter handle on Monday, Shehu Sani disclosed how the European union, America, Canada and other international Agencies organized training and lectures before the election to orientate Nigerians especially those who would be engaging in the process.

The whole essence was to ensure free, fair and credible elections but the reverse turns out to be the case at the end of the process.

The election was bungled and its credibility has been a subject of debate since February 25.

Writing on his Twitter handle, Shehu Sani said:

“Before the General elections, more than half of Abuja Hotels was booked by European,American and Canadian donor agencies and foundations;they brought their experts who gave all sorts of lectures & training on elections.They had no knowledge of thugs,manipulations & vote buying.”
