Commercial motorcycle riders, popularly known as Okada riders, on Friday protested the seizure of their motorcycles by the Lagos State Task Force Team.
The task force team dislodged the Okada riders and seized their motorcycles in the Alakija area of the state.
The motorcycles were seized and carried into the task force van.
Protesting the clampdown, the Okada riders set a bonfire on the road as the van carrying the motorcycles left the scene.
Policemen arrived at the scene and opened teargas at the protesting Okada riders.
