I Have Constructed More Roads Than My Predecessors-Gov Abiodun Scores Himself High In Ogun

Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun has rated himself high in the governance of Ogun State, saying he has constructed more roads in the state than any of his predecessor.

The Governor who will be completing his first tenure next year disclosed that in the area of road construction, he has done better than Ibikunle Amosun, Gbenga Daniel and Chief Segun Osoba who have all governed the state between 1999 and 2019.

Governor Abiodun took over in 2019 to succceed Ibikunle Amosun who is currently the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial district.

According to the governor who stated this on his verified social media page, 80 major roads, including federal ones, have been constructed since he came on board in 2019.

Abiodun said the roads, totalling 400km, were constructed, reconstructed and rehabilitated by his administration.

With this feat, the governor maintained that his administration in the last three and a half years has more kilometres of road done than what his predecessors could lay claim to.

“I have monstructed more roads than Amosun, Daniel and Osoba in the last three and half years of my administration.

“Over 80 major roads and others (Federal roads inclusive) totalling 400km have been constructed, reconstructed or rehabilitated across the State.

“This administration in three years and six months has done more in terms of kilometres of roads than previous administrations in the State,” Gov. Abiodun said in a post on his verified social media handles.
