Please Trash Chimamanda’s Open Letter When It Gets To Your Desk- Bayo Onanuga Tells Joe Biden

American president, Joe Biden has been told to ignore the open letter written by the award winning writer, Chimamanda Adichie over the recently concluded presidential election in Nigeria.

The literary icon made the news headline during the week after her Open letter to president Joe Biden emerged on social media.

In the letter, she told the U.S president not to congratulate the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because what he is holding is a stolen mandate which will soon be retrieved from him by the real owner through a court process.

Responding to the open letter, the Media Director of Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga told Biden to ignore Chimamanda’s open letter and trash it when it gets to his table.

“Please Trash Chimamanda’s open letter when it gets to your desk.” Bayo Onanuga said this on his Twitter page on Friday morning.

He wrote: “Dear President Joe Biden, please just trash the open letter by Chimamanda on Nigeria’s election once it gets to your desk. She wrote fiction, inspired by the monumental loss of her tribesman Peter Obi.”
