Rivers State Government Swears In 16 Permanent Secretaries
The Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara on Tuesday swore in 16 Permanent Secretaries into different Ministries that are currently with no administrative heads.
The Governor, during the swearing-in ceremony, charged the new Permanent Secretaries to refrain from politics and most importantly see their appointments as call to duty to support his administration in delivering good governance and other dividends of democracy to the people of Rivers State.
The Governor noted that the seasoned bureaucrats have been carefully selected from a large pool of qualified candidates numbering several thousands, noting that as a matter of fact, their selection was strictly on merit.
The Governor assured the State’s civil servants of a conducive working environment.
Highlight of the swearing in was the presentation of official vehicles to the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries.
