Ododo Takes Oath Of Office As Kogi Governor
The newly elected governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo has taken his oath office on Saturday.
The former State Accountant General was officially sworn-in as governor three months after he was declared winner of the keenly contested governorship election in the state.
He will be succeeding Yahaya Bello, the former governor who had just completed his second term.
The inauguration ceremony took place in Lokoja on Saturday, with Ododo taking the oath of office around 2:24 pm.
His inauguration came just minutes after Salifu Joel Oyibot took his oath of office as the deputy governor of Kogi State.
