I Can Never Form Alliance With APC, PDP To Win 2023 Election- Sowore Spits Fire

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has stated emphatically that he cannot go into any alliance with the ruling All Progressives Congress or the Peoples Democratic Party.

In a report published by The Punch Newspaper on Wednesday, the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council revealed its plans to form an alliance with smaller political parties so as to bolster its chances of winning the presidential election.

The party however did not specify the parties it has in mind as its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is busy touring the lenght and breadth of the country to campaign and sell his Manifesto to the electorates.

Speaking on Wednesday while appearing on a Punch Newspaper’s programme titled: The Round Table Show, Sowore ruled out the possibility of going into alliance with either APC or PDP because he does not need that kind of alliance.

He said, “There’s no alliance between darkness and light. I can’t align with APC, I can’t align with PDP.  We (AAC) started the alliance talks in this election cycle.

“We don’t need the kind of alliance that APC is looking for. Those are mostly transactional. We are not interested in that.  That alliance doesn’t involve us and they know. We already have an alliance with the oppressed.

We have an alliance with those who are pro people.”
