A grieving mother, Tedia Wetan has cried out for justice over the murder of her daughter, Okeoghene Wetan.
The young lady, a graduate of Covenant University, was killed in her parents’ living room by yet to be identified hoodlum(s) in September 1st, 2023 around 7: am.
According to the mother, since the unfortunate incident happened, nothing has been done about it neither has there been an update about the investigation and prosecution of those responsible for her daughter’s gruesome murder.
In a post made available on her Facebook page on Monday Morning, Mrs Tedia lamented that Nigeria has happened to her, asking how it is possible for someone to walk into her living room and kill her innocent daughter in a cold blooded manner and walk free.
She stated that the murderer, who walked away with the victim’s telephone, laptop, and bunch of keys is still walking freely on the streets to attack other victims.
She however alleged that the Police has treated the case with levity by releasing the prime suspect, David Kenneth Okereke without proper investigation.
