AFCON Update: Tinubu Honours Super Eagles Team With MON Merit Award, Flat & Land

President Bola Tinubu has honoured members of the AFCON, Silver Winning Super Eagles With Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) Merit award for their impressive display at the just concluded AFCON 2023 tournament held in Ivory Coast.

The package also comes with one flat each and a plot of land in the FCT.

Nigeria came in second place, losing the trophy to the hosts Ivory Coast, who were the host nation and eventual winners of the continental football fiesta.

The Nigerian team were received at the State House on Tuesday where they were conferred with the awards.

All the team members and officials were in attendance.
