Economic Hardship: Labour Declares A Two-day Nationwide Protest 

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has announced that it will hold a two-day nationwide protest over the hardship being experienced by Nigerians as well as the deteriorating security situation in the Country.

The  President of the Labour union , Joe Ajaero, disclosed this during a press briefing in Abuja on Friday after an emergency meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC).

He stated that the protest will commence  a week after the expiration of the 14 day ultimatum the union issued to the Federal Government which is expected to expire on February 23.

He however said, the days for the planned  nationwide protest is February 27 and 28.
