Energy Crisis: NNPCL Assures Nigerians Issues Will Be Resolved In 10 Years

For Nigerians to heave a sigh of relief on issues relating to energy scarcity in the country, they may possibly have to wait for another ten years.

This was revealed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL in a statement signed by its Chief Corporate Communication Officer, Olufemi Soneye.

 According to the statement, Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the company, made the indication during the commencement of the seventh Nigerian International Energy Summit in Abuja on Tuesday.

He expressed a commitment to work closely with stakeholders to tackle the energy shortage and promote prosperity for the people of Nigeria.

The NNPCL Chief executive assured stakeholders of the company’s “commitment to work with them to close the energy deficit gap and create prosperity for Nigerians.”

The statement added that from “all indications, all issues of energy scarcity in the country would be over in the next 10 years.”
