Kaduna Kidnap Saga: IGP Meets Gov, Promises To Free Abducted School Students 

The Inspector General of police, Kayode Egbetokun has vowed that the Force will soon secure the release of the 287 School children abducted in the State.

The IGP said the Police High Command will adopt all available strategies, including kinetic and non-kinetic approaches, to rescue the victims.

The Police boss gave the assurance at the kaduna state government house where he had a meeting with the State Governor, Uba Sani on Tuesday.

The meeting is in connection with the recent abduction of the 287 primary and secondary school students at Kuriga community in Chikun Local.

The IGP gave further assurance more mobile policemen and special forces will be immediately deployed to the affected communities and other vulnerable areas in Kaduna, to help tame the menace of banditry, kidnappings and terrorism
