Tinubu To Attend Burial Of Slain Military Personnel On Wednesday 

Seventeen Soldiers killed in the Okuama Community of the Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State will be buried on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

In a post on X, the Nigerian Army said the slain soldiers would be buried at the National Military Cemetery, Abuja at 3pm on Wednesday.

President Bola Tinubu will be the Special Guest of Honour at the event.

The President also said the slain military personnel will be conferred with national honours.

RovingNaija News recalls that the slain military personnel were killed when they responded to a distress call after a communal crisis between the Okuama and Okoloba communities, both in Delta State.

The beheaded corpses of the slain soldiers were later recovered from a neigbouring river, while some other were mutilated.
