The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Gusau, says he is not aware of the reported resignation of Super Eagles coach, Finidi George.
According to The PUNCH, Gusau through a response to a query via WhatsApp said he was not yet aware of the resignation.
Finidi had been under fire since the Super Eagles lost to the Squirrels of Benin in a World Cup qualifier.
The NFF had afterwards taken a decision to hire a foreign Technical Adviser for the Super Eagles.
You recall that Ex- NFF media officer, Toyin Ibitoye had written on his X handle that Finidi had resigned.
He wrote: “News just in. Finidi George #FinidiGeorge_FG has resigned from his #NGSuperEagles manager position.”
