As part of measures to effectively combat crime and criminality in Rivers State, Governor Siminalaye Fubara of River State presented 100 vehicles to the Nigerian Police which was received on behalf of the IGP, by the State Police Commissioner, Olatunji Disu.
According to Gov Fubara, It is in advancing his government ‘s commitment at ensuring swift response to security emergencies and the protection of lives and properties of the State.
The Governor also took time to visit the site of the new Neuropsychiatric Hospital and new General Hospital, Rumuigbo to assess the extent of work on the projects. “I am quite impressed with the ongoing work and feel optimistic that both projects will be delivered on time”,the Governor said..
