Peter Obi Rallies Support For Olumide Akpata In Upcoming Edo Election

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election was in Benin, Edo State, Tuesday to support the Labour Party gubernatorial candidate, Barrister Olumide Akpata, and his running mate, Alhaji Yusuf Kadiri, for the upcoming Edo State Governorship election, scheduled for Saturday, September 21st, 2024.

He said the campaign is a crucial part of the party’s mission to engage directly with the people, sharing the party’s vision of hope and transformation for a new Nigeria.

“As I have always emphasized, it is essential that we vote for the right candidates—those who demonstrate competence, capacity, consistency, and compassion to serve.

Together, we can build a new Edo State and a Nigeria that is POssible,” Obi said
