Governor Alex Otti during the weekend, inspected the ongoing construction of the Abia Urban Renewal and Public Transportation Project (Abia Transport Terminal in Umuahia).
Governor Otti, said the choice of Planet Projects Limited to handle the signature project is a pointer to the Governor’s desire to ensure that a world-class Transport Terminal is built in the state capital.
“By the time the job is delivered, the Glory of Umuahia as a state capital would begin to manifest, as sanity and order would have been restored In the public transport system.
“In Abia, we are both swift and steady while not compromising quality and standard.
“It doesn’t matter the enormity of the challenges that may be staring Abians in the face, Governor Alex Otti is determined to get the state to surmount and succeed so that it would begin to occupy its pride of place in the comity of states,” the governor stated.
