Edo State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism sends forth it’s Director, Uwanne

The Edo State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism bid a heartfelt farewell to their esteemed former Director of Regulations, Standard & Monitoring, Mrs. Anne Umane, whose tenure was marked by her exceptional leadership and warm disposition towards staff.

Colleagues led by the Chair of workers Union, Comrade Osigwe praised Mrs. Anne Umane for her dedication, compassion and unwavering support, which fostered a sense of belonging and friendship within the Ministry.

During her tenure, Mrs.Anne Umane contributed immensely in the implementation of innovative programmes and initiatives that promoted the rich cultural heritage of Edo State.

Her retirement was met with mixed emotions, as other staff expressed gratitude for her warmth, mentorship and guidance.

The Commissioner for Arts, Culture & Tourism, Uyi Oduwa Malaka commended Mrs. Umane for her outstanding service and commitment, saying, “Your legacy will continue to inspire and motivate us to strive for excellence.”

The conference room of the Ministry where the sentforth held was filled to its brim by staff including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Iryn Omorogiuwa Esq., and guests of the retiree.

High point of the sentforth was the presentation of a farewell gift by the staff.

The former Director, Mrs. Anne Umane thanked the Ministry’s staff for the wonderful expression of love to her and for deeming her fit for the sentforth.

As Mrs. Umane embarks on her new journey, the Edo State Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Tourism wishes her all the best and expresses sincere appreciation for her tireless efforts and contributions.
