KP Hydro Ltd. Takes Over Kashimbila Dam To Boost Nigeria’s Energy Capacity
The Taraba State government has transferred the Kashimbila Dam to KP Hydro Limited through a concession agreement by the Federal Government of Nigeria to boost Nigeria’s renewable energy capacity.
The move is expected to boost Nigeria’s power generation capacity and contribute significantly to meeting the country’s growing energy demands.
General T.Y. Danjuma (rtd.), Prof. Joseph Ustev, Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Naomi Tanko Agbu, Taraba’s Commissioner for Energy and Economic Development, traditional leaders, and other high-ranking government officials attended the event.
