The National Orientation Agency (NOA) is to collaborate with the Institute for Ethics and Professional Studies (IFEPS) on implementation of the National Values Charter, aimed at fostering a morally transformed and prosperous nation. NOA Director-General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, emphasised the need for reciprocal commitment from both citizens and government, stressing that patriotism requires shared identity and a guiding promise for citizens.
IFEPS Executive Director, Dr. Uyim Akpabio, applauded NOA’s efforts, aligning them with IFEPS’ four-point agenda to reset national morality. This agenda includes observing a National Day of Value Consciousness, strengthening local government autonomy, mentoring youths for ethical leadership, and launching a book titled Governance Solutions: A Perspective of Ethics and Professionalism.
