England born Super Eagles player Ademola Lookman Olajade Alade Aylola Lookman, MON, last night became the sixth Nigerian player to win the CAF African player of the year. He took over from his Super Eagles compatriot Victor Osihmen. Born on 20 October 1997, Lookman is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serie A club Atalanta.
The Nigerian star edged past Hakimi and Guirassy to claim the prestigious CAF Player of the Year award.
Nigeria has won the award back to back after Victor Osimhen won same award in 2023.

Ademola lookman won the Europa league with Atalanta and broke a UEFA record by scoring hat trick .
Ademola lookman won a silver medal with Atalanta in the Super Cup and also won a silver medal super eagles of Nigeria .
