Lagos, Osun Governors Condole With Gov. Aiyedatiwa Of Ondo State Over Death Of SSG
The Governors of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Osun State counterpart Sen. Ademola Adeleke have condoled with the Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa over the death of the Secretary to the Ondo State Government Tayo Oluwatuyi
Sanwo-Olu described the late Oluwatuyi as a dedicated public servant who gave his all to move the state forward.
“I extend my condolences to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Ondo State Government, and the people of Ondo on the loss of Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government.
“Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi was a dedicated public servant and former Chairman of the Akure South Local Government Area, who passionately served the State and its people. His patriotism and commitment to the growth of Ondo State will always be cherished.
I pray for his eternal rest and for God to provide strength to Governor Aiyedatiwa, the Ondo State Government, his family, friends, and all the people of Ondo State during this difficult time”, the statement said.
On his part, the Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke in a statement by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed described the death of the Late Ondo SSG as a rude shock, describing him as a vibrant and loyal servant of the people of Ondo state.
He also condoled with the immediate and entire family of Mr Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Ondo State Government and the people of Ondo state, adding that Tayo Oluwatuyi will be greatly missed.
“I wish to commiserate with my brother, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state over the demise of the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Mr Tayo Oluwatuyi.
“Tayo Oluwatuyi in his lifetime was a vibrant and loyal servant of the people of Ondo state. His vacuum will be very difficult to fill.
“I extend my condolences to the immediate and entire Oluwatuyi family, the Ondo State Government and the people of Ondo state. No doubt Tayo Oluwatuyi will be greatly missed.
“We pray that his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” the Governor noted.
Oluwatuyi died in the early hours of Saturday after battling with injuries sustained in a road accident on 15 December 2024, while travelling to Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
