Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema, has announced the official release date for his new single. The single titled, ‘Baby, Is It A Crime,’ will be released come February 7th, 2025, few days after he performed the song at the 67th Grammy Awards.
‘Is It A Crime’, samples Sade’s ‘Promise’, marking his first release of 2025, after he was nominated following for Best Global Album at the 2025 Grammys.
The award in that category was awarded to American artist Matt B & the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for their album ‘Alkebulan II.’
The soon to be released single is Rema’s first since the launch of his sophomore album ‘HEIS’ in 2024.
Some of his singles like ‘Calm Down’ ‘Azaman’ and ‘Ozeba,’ have achieved significant commercial success.
The singer also recently announced the dates for his forthcoming European tour, which includes a performance at the 20K Accor Arena in France.
Rema was the first Afrobeats artist to achieve 1 billion streams on Spotify and 1 billion views on YouTube.
