Gov. Oborevwori Receives New PFN Executive, Promise Accountability In His Government

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori today received the newly elected executive of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Delta State Chapter, led by Bishop Abos Willie at the Government House, Asaba. In his address, he urged public office holders to prioritize the welfare of Deltans over personal interests, emphasizing that true leadership requires selflessness.

Governor Oborevwori also attributed his administration’s success to divine guidance and pledged to continue putting God first in governance while collaborating with stakeholders to advance development in the state.

Meanwhile Governor Sheriff Oborevwori also swore in Chief Ighoyota Amori as Chief Adviser to the Governor at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, describing him as a seasoned administrator whose experience will strengthen the administration. He charged political appointees to be good ambassadors by upholding the MORE Agenda and engaging with their communities to communicate government policies and gather feedback for effective governance.

Emphasizing his commitment to accountability, the Governor reiterated his plans to introduce a hotline for residents to report substandard projects. He also tasked appointees with monitoring projects in their localities and advising the government accordingly, stressing that their performance would be closely evaluated to ensure efficient service delivery to the people.
