

As part of efforts to ensure compliance with the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA) regulations, the Agency’s General Manager, TPL. Animashaun Oladimeji led a monitoring team to recover outstanding rents owed on properties managed by LASURA in Lagos Island.
This follows the recent opening of the Annex Office of the Agency located at 44, Nnamdi Azikiwe Street, Lagos Island and aimed at enhancing revenue generation through the recovery of outstanding rents owed by property developers and individuals who failed to pay their rent as stipulated in rent or lease agreement.
According to Oladimeji, “The recovery of outstanding rent is crucial to the State Government’s efforts to generate revenue and fund development projects. It will be a continuous exercise and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that all debts owed to the State are recovered.
The monitoring team, led by the General Manager comprising management staff and the estate department, has been visiting shops to administer notice for payment to defaulters.
