Rear Admiral Oamen expressed his appreciation to the NSC’s leadership and management team, describing their visit as part of the command’s tradition of fostering inter-agency cooperation.
The Naval Chief acknowledged NSC as a key partner in ensuring smooth maritime operations, noting that their collaboration has helped reduce crime and enhance shipping activities.
He further emphasized that the Navy is always ready to engage with stakeholders and respond promptly whenever needed.
Mr. Rotimi Anifowose, Director of Strategic Planning and Research at NSC, reiterated the Council’s commitment to working closely with the Nigerian Navy. He also noted that as the Council transitions into the Nigerian Ports Economic Regulatory Agency (NPERA), it will continue to rely on the Navy’s support to achieve its objectives.
