MTN Celebrates Valentine With Enugu People At Villa Toscana Sports Bar

Love was in the air in Enugu—not just the romantic kind, but the kind that fuels passion, creativity, and community impact. On February 15th, as the world still celebrated the Valentine’s fever, MTN Nigeria took its Go Make A Difference (Go M.A.D.) movement to the heart of Enugu, turning Villa Toscana Sports Bar into a hotbed of energy, inspiration, and entertainment.

This activation followed the electrifying Abuja pop-up at Papiee’s Meatro, where changemakers, entrepreneurs, and everyday Nigerians shared their journeys of resilience and impact. From engaging open-mic moments to thought-provoking stories, Abuja set the tone for what was to come. And when Enugu’s turn arrived, it did not disappoint.

From the moment the lights dimmed, and the music hit, the energy at Villa Toscana was undeniable. The crowd were thrilled as the PDA Dance Group and Boy-K took the stage, delivering high-energy performances that had everyone on their feet. It wasn’t just a show—it was a celebration of passion, of taking bold steps, and making an impact.

But the night wasn’t just about the dance floor. Attendees got a chance to share their own Go M.A.D. stories in a 60-second challenge, proving that anyone, no matter where they are, can start making a difference today. And to top it off, the Kahoot Trivia Challenge kept the audience engaged, rewarding those who knew their facts with exciting prizes.

Of course, what’s a night out without a little karaoke magic? The microphone was passed from one confident (or not-so-confident) singer to the next, filling the air with nostalgic tunes, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Beyond the fun, this was about something bigger: empowering individuals to dream big and act. Through Go M.A.D., MTN is showing that making an impact is easier when people have the right tools—starting with data. Whether it’s an entrepreneur using the internet to scale their business, an artist connecting with a global audience, or a student accessing online education, MTN Data is the fuel for change.

Speaking about the essence of the day, Callima Inino, General Manager, Regional Operations East, MTN Nigeria, shared:

“Valentine’s Day is all about love, and there’s no greater love than the one that drives us to make a difference in our communities. With Go M.A.D., we’re proving that impact isn’t just for a select few—it’s for everyone. This campaign is about taking action, and we’re excited to see the movement grow across Nigeria.”

As the Enugu night faded, one thing was clear: this wasn’t just another activation. It was a spark—one that would keep burning long after the music stopped.
