The leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Pastor Evelyn Joshua has told Christians to learn how to confess positively over their situations as that’s the only way they can overcome the giant before them.
The woman of God made this assertion in Accra, Ghana, with the theme ‘Prayer Meeting In Ghana With Pastor Evelyn Joshua’. She reminded the congregation of the message for the year, which is ‘My forward looking year’, so the only to move forward is for them to confess positively at all times.
Picking her proof text from the book of Numbers 13: vs 14, 30-33 with the message titled ‘Keep Focus by Identifying your source. Jesus is your source, the truth and life’. Pastor Joshua reminded the people that there are two types of truth: The sense knowledge truth and the divine revelation truth.
She gave the example of the two categories of people among the 12 Isrealities that were sent by Moses in the Bible, to spy the promise land. While 10 of the men gave evil report about the inhabitants of the land they were to occupy describing the Israelites as grasshoppers before them, the other two (Joshua and Caleb)looked beyond their situation and spoke words of faith to the isrealities through the revealation truth.
She admonished Christians to learn from the mistakes of other 10, because “confessing ones weakness will only make the person look like a grasshopper before his/her problem”.
Earlier while laying the foundation for the prayer meeting, Evangelist Ope, congratulated those who made their way to the meeting as it’s the beginning of turnaround in their lives. He asked them to rid their hearts of pains, bitterness and offence as these things are capable of stopping them from receiving. He further encouraged the congregation to open their hearts as Pastor Evelyn Joshua came to the meeting with a fresh anointing from God to set the people in bondage free, as the lame walked, the sick received their healing, lost glories restored and the lost reconciled back with God.
The meeting held at the Accra branch of SCOAN, witnessed lots of testimonies as the people could not hide the miracles of God in their lives. They appreciated God for using Pastor Evelyn Joshua and the Evangelists to restore them back to Him.
