ILERA EKO: LASHMA Distributes Gifts To Enrollees At Orile Agege General Hospital

In a heartwarming display of care and compassion, the Permanent Secretary from the Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA), Dr. Emmanuella Zamba visited the Orile-Agege General Hospital to celebrate Valentine’s Day with both in-patients and out-patients enrolled in the ILERA EKO health care programme.

The visit, which took place as part of LASHMA’s ongoing commitment to promoting hospitality and well-being, was marked by a gesture of goodwill towards the patients.

Dr. Zamba said that the meeting was timely, emphasising the importance of showing love to the patients while wishing them a swift recovery. She further acknowledged the patients for their trust and loyalty to the ILERA EKO programme, highlighting their central role in the Agency’s priorities.

While distributing gifts to the patients, Dr. Zamba reiterated that the wellness and well-being of ILERA EKO enrollees remain a top priority for LASHMA.

The Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of Orile Agege-General Hospital, Dr. ‘Sola Pitan praised LASHMA for the thoughtful visit and gifts, noting that the initiative was especially meaningful given the significance of the day.

He also reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to aligning with the health policies of the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, aimed at improving healthcare services across the state.

This visit underscores LASHMA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the relationship between healthcare providers and the community while ensuring that enrollees receive the best possible care and attention.
