‘COSON In The Mosque’ Billed For 30th May At Lagos Central Mosque, Ebute Metta

Chief Tony Okoroji, Chairman, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), has confirmed that prayers at “COSON in the Mosque’, one of the seven key events of the much-advertised COSON Week 2025, will take place on Friday May 30, at the Lagos Central Mosque, 7 Carter Street, Ebute Metta.

Chief Okoroji has thanked the Chief Imam of the mosque, Alhaji Sabitu Akanni Omowunmi, for providing his revered institution for COSON members of the Islamic faith, to partake in prayers for the good of the Nigerian nation.

The prayers and worship on May 30 are intended to lift the spirit of the nation whose citizens have in recent years wrestled with significant economic, security and developmental challenges that have left many depressed and desperate.

It will be recalled that in the past, “COSON in the Mosque” has been successfully held at Lagos Central Mosque, Nnamdi Azikiwe Street, Lagos Island; Surulere Central Mosque on Alhaji Marsha Street, Surulere; Alausa Central Mosque near the Lagos State Secretariat and the Ikeja Central Mosque at Muslim Ave, Ikeja.

The mantra for COSON Week 2025 is: Nigeria will rise again!
