Another scandal set to rock Abuja because of Wike

By our correspondent

Brother to a former Governor of Ekiti state, Prince Isaac Fayose has threatened to sue Olalere Olayinka, a former media aide to his brother Ayò Fayose and current Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to Nyesom Wike, for defamation.

Isaac who described Olayinka as a beggar, noted that he bankrolled him for a long time after his brother, Ayo Fayose abandoned him. He said “I fed him for a long time. He is my boy. He should print out his statement of account.”

The ongoing disagreement between the duo stems from Isaac Fayose’s video on his Facebook page on Saturday in which he demanded the whereabouts of the FCT Minister.

Reacting to Isaac’s video, Olayinka described Fayose as a weed smoker and a drug abuser, who should take the matter of his own health seriously instead of minding the business of Wike’s health.

He also threw a jibe at Isaac Fayose, warning him to be wary of the nation’s anti-narcotics agency, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Olayinka wrote: “Before I leave here for other important engagements, let me advise Prince Isaac Fayose to take the issues of his health, especially his internal organs very seriously.

“When you smoke WEED (Igbo) and sniff certain things, you need regular medical checkup rather than masturbating about Wike, who is in his house after doing his jobs till late yesterday.

“And be mindful of NDLEA abeg.”

In a twist of event, Isaac described Olalere as a “cheap beggar” who depended on him for financial assistance after the older Fayose abandoned him.

Addressing Lere’s allegation of him being a drug abuser, Isaac has hinted at pressing legal charges on the FCT Minister’s media aide for defaming his character.

According to him, “that allegation is highly injurious to my hard-earned character, I will not let that slide. He must come to the court to explain where I smoked, took substances or abused drugs like cocaine.”

Buttressing his video that triggered the arguments, Isaac Fayose noted that he only asked about the whereabouts of Lere’s principal, Wike who is a public officer. He noted “Wike is supposed to be in Bayelsa today, I asked why he wasn’t there. Has he been flown out of the country? Is he out of the country or is he in Abuja? He is our minister and I have every right to demand his whereabouts.”
