Serving Politician Arrested With AK-47 Near Bandits Den In Kaduna

A councilor representing Kinkiba Ward in Soba Local Government area of Kaduna state, Abdul Adamu has been arrested for being in possession of Ak-47.

The suspect who was arrested on Thursday evening at Giwa Local government area of the state was said to have held the sophisticated weapon at a place close to den of notorious group who are terrorizing the state.

The chairman of Soba Local Government Area, Engineer Suleiman Yahaya Richifa, confirmed the arrest.

He stated that the suspect is the councilor representing Kinkiba ward in the council.

He, however, declined to speak further, adding, “I’m in serious grief about the news. Please allow me to overcome my shock.”
