Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack: Terrorists Drop New Video As Victims Beg Govt. For Help
The Bandits who attacked Abuja-Kaduna Train and kidnapped hundreds of passengers have released a new video of their victims.
In the video which was released on Wednesday and exclusively obtained by Arise News Correspondent, about six victims were assembled at an undisclosed location and video-recorded by the Bandits. One of the Bandits whose face was covered was standing behind them.
The abductees were made to appeal to the government one after the other to come to their aids and get them released.
One of the victims said he was kidnapped alongside his family and they are currently in the kidnappers den. Also, a Pakistan National who is among the victims said he came to do a job in Nigeria when he was kidnapped on March 28 in the ill-fated train.
The Bandits had initially given the government seven days ultimatum to meet their demands or have all the victims slaughtered.
According to the audio message released on Monday, they claimed that five of their children are in the custody of the Nigerian army and they want them released with immediate effect.
They warned that if they were not released after five days, they will kill their hostages.
Victims families are however appealing to the government to listen to the bandits and give them what they want so as to have their loved ones return home alive.
They said they can no longer bear the sight of their people in such a terrible condition.
The train was attacked in March 28 along Abuja-Kaduna rail line and about 168 passengers were abducted and taken to the forest.
