NNPP Candidate, Musa Kwankwaso Names 3 Major Crises He Will Address In Nigeria If Elected

Presidential Candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has assured Nigerians that a better Nigeria is possible if the right person is elected in the 2023 general election.

The former governor of Kano state is among the strongest contenders for the top job and he believes he is the right candidate to succeed president Muhammadu Buhari next year despite the newness of his party.

While speaking at the Kolanut center during a meeting with delegates on Monday day in Calabar, Cross Rivers State, the former Nigerian Minister of Defence emphasized on three things he would concentrate on if he becomes president of Nigeria.

The first thing he spoke about is the nagging insecurity that is currently ravaging the country. To say Nigeria is groaning under the heavyweight of insecurity is an understatement. Every part of the country is bleeding and it is as if the present government is overwhelmed in addressing the situation.

Kwakwanso acknowledged this challenge and therefore told his audience he would get down to work immediately he assumes office in 2023 and security challenge will be his first target. Once insecurity is defeated, half of the problem is gone.

The second thing Kwakwanso promised to tackle immediately he gets to power is the education problem. The country is currently witnessing a dearth in the education sector especially with the protracted industrial action by the University lecturers.

Kwakwanso decried the situation and promised to nip the problem in the bud once elected to power in 2023. 

Lastly, the NNPP Presidential Candidate emphasized on economy which appears to have collapsed under the current government.

Kwakwanso promised to create a virile and conducive environment for investors if he becomes the president. According to him, government alone cannot grow economy. All the government needs to do is to create the opportunity for people to grow their businesses.

He said he would banish unemployment among the Youths and ensure Nigeria becomes a destination for foreign investors.
