PDP House of Assembly aspirant, Ogbe explains how he survived assassination attempt in Enugu

A former aspirant in the May 24, 2022 House of Assembly primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu, Mr Akaolisa Ogbe, has told the public, how his life was nearly cut short by people suspected to be political rivals.
He stated in a conversation with newsmen without mincing words, that it is nothing but the grace of God that saved him from the bullets of assassins as the experience will forever remain a story for him.
According to reports, Akaolisa Ogbe who happens to be the victim, bought forms to contest for the party in Enugu South Rural State Constituency but unfortunately, he was battling for his life as at the time of the primary election.
Lamenting over how he spent over one month in the hospital, Ogbe reiterated that no single member of the party or it’s leadership cared about him, over the incident that occurred on April 16, 2022 during one of his routine ward visitations.
He went ahead to commend the youths that gave him their support, adding that he would continue the struggle to give them better lives.
