Since the Tuesday deadly attack on Kuje Prison where scores of inmates including members of arrested Boko Haram set and hardened Criminals were set free by bandits, Nigerians have been asking questions about certain things they feel are wrong.

On Thursday, Ondo State Governor, while holding a security meeting in his state lamented the situation of things and revealed that Bandits are already heading to the South West.

Akeredolu who is the chairman of southern governors forum alerted his colleagues in the Southwest to be battle ready for the invasion of terrorists into the region.

The governor who has been clamoring for the constitution of state police said the only way Nigeria can overcome the present security challenges is to set up a state police and the national assembly should start looking into that with immediate effect.

Discussing the subject and the general cases of insecurity across the country, presenters of Your View, a TVC programme anchored by Morayo Afolabi-Brown called out Governor Akeredolu over his security vote.

While analysing the situation, the ladies said while state police is the way to go presently in Nigeria, they said the governors also need to give account of how they spend their monthly security votes.

They argued that if governors can judiciously use their security vote on what it is primarily meant for, it will go a long way in tackling the security challenges in their states. It is not everytime they should be expecting the federal government to intervene in the security crisis of their states.

They asked governor Akeredolu to give account of how he spends his security votes before pushing for state police .
