What Bola Tinubu Campaign Spokesperson Said About Those Who Mocked Shettima’s Outfit To NBA Conference
Bayo Onanuga, the former Director General of the News Agency of Nigeria and Spokesman of the Tinubu campaign organization has softly reacted to the whirlwind of reactions that greeted the choice of Kashim Shettima’s outfit to the 2022 Nigerian Bar Association conference on Monday.
Senator Shettima, the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress had graced the occasion to stand-in for his principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was said to be unavoidably absent.
However, Shettima’s outfit became a subject of discussion on social media having been spotted wearing four button suit on a pair of sneakers at the venue.
Many Nigerians especially the fashionistas were of the opinion that the former Borno state governor had just created a fashion trend that can only be explained by him.
Since the pictures and video went viral, social media has been awashed with series of reactions and reactions of the same dress style by netizens.
Speaking on the development on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon, Bayo Onanuga described those who derided the APC vice presidential candidate over his outfit as uncivilized people.
Onanuga said they deserve their pity. The APC spokesman said those people are not exposed and they need to be taken out to see the world properly.
He further buttressed his position with series of pictures of people who once dressed in the same style and posted their pictures on the internet.
