Several APC Members Die In Fatal Road Crash While Returning From Campaign Rally
Not less than seven members of the All Progressive Congress have been confirmed dead after involving in a road accident along Kano-Zaria road.
The victims who met their untimely death at Kwanar Dangora town in Kiru Local government area of the state were said to be returning from a mega rally held in Kano on Wednesday.
According to the report, the accident occurred around 6 pm when their Golf car collided with an oil tanker. Ten people were reportedly aboard when the accident occurred.
It was learned that five people died on the spot while two others were pronounced dead at the Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital, Kano.
The deceased are Bala Kariya, Barau Kariya, Musbahu Gidan Diraman, Yakubu Gidan Diraman, Hamza Huntu, Danladi Gidan Algaita, and Lawan Gidan Diraman.
They have been buried in their different villages in accordance with Islamic rites.
Members of the national and state assemblies, among them, the senator representing Kano South, Kabiru Gaya, attended the funeral prayers, as well as other political office holders.
