The G-5 Agreed That In Any State We Control, If LP Comes 1st, APC Must Come 2nd & Vise-versa- Gov. Wike 

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has opened up on how he and his integrity group popular known as G-5 Governors finally nailed the presidential candidate of their party, Atiku Abubakar.

Wike, who disclosed the strategy they adopted while commissioning a road project in Emohua Local government area of the state, disclosed that all the five aggrieved Governors ensured Atiku lost in their domains. 

Those who did not vote for presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu voted for Peter Obi, candidate of the Labour party.

According to the governor, all they were after is for a Southern president to emerge irrespective of where he may come from and that was what they achieved through the presidential election.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Wike said: “We agreed that in any state we control, if Labour Party comes first, APC must come second and vise-versa.”

Speaking further, he said he never campaign against Peter Obi because he does not have anything against him. He said all the G5 are talking about is Southern president and the goal was achieved 

He also commended the APC governors for ensuring a southern president is succeeding president Muhammadu Buhari in May.
