The sudden disappearance of a middle aged Islamic cleric, Mallam Soliu Abdulraman in Agbaluku, Arigidi Akoko in Ondo State has put his family and the Muslim community in the ancient town in sorrow.
The cleric popularly called Alfa giga reportedly left his residence at the cornerstone area of Agbaluku Arigidi Akoko with a friend on his motorbike last week Friday to an unknown destination.
According to family sources, Abdulrahman, a graduate of the Ekiti State University later called his wife that he would not be returning home due to a heavy rain but all efforts by the wife to reach him thereafter were unsuccessful.
It was gathered that a search and rescue team raised by the family after combing bushes in Agbaluku Arigidi discovered the cleric’s motorcycle with its ignition key beside a river.
This, has heightened the level of anxiety by family over the whereabout of the cleric.
The matter is said to have been reported to the police.
