The Rivers State Police command says its operatives have arrested one Godslove Olakada from Agbonchia Eleme on Saturday, 14th of October 2023 at about 8:30 pm for pouring hot water on her husband, one Olakada Ejire .
But our correspondent gathered that Godslove poured acid on her husband accusing him of not giving her money from the community #15,000 that was shared between them and their children from the host community Dividends.
The source also told our correspondent that the woman who is a mother of 2 girls, took away his ATM card and in her plans to escape she was caught by Nchia security council headed by Abel Oluka, and other teaming youths of Agbonchia community and was handed over to Nchia police station.
In a statement by the spokesperson of the command SP GRACE IRUNGR-KOKO said the case was as a result of domestic family issues while the victim Olakada Ejire was rushed to Famo Hospital at Aleto Eleme for treatment.
