In line with his campaign promise to empower 1, 000 youths, the senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District Augustine Akobundu, has announced the shortlisting of the highly anticipated first batch of the ICT training program for constituents.
The selection process encompassed all 62 wards in the district, resulting in the shortlist of three (3) youths per ward, totaling 186 participants.
These individuals will undergo an intensive six-week technology training program. A second batch will follow, maintaining the same outreach strategy to ensure youth at the grassroots acquire commercially viable skills, ultimately helping to alleviate financial challenges in the district.
