As The Real Housewives of Lagos season 3 premieres on Sunday, 12 January, 2025,with three new cast members and three returning housewives, fans of the reality TV show are expecting a season filled with glamour, style, and most importantly, drama.

The new entrants, Adeola Diiadem Adeyemi, Founder & CEO, Beauty By AD; Dabota Lawson, founder of Lawson House of Beauty and Dabota Cosmetics; and Sophia Momodu, beauty and fashion entrepreneur, are bringing fresh dynamics to the already fascinating crew of housewives. Mariam Timmer and Laura Ikeji are showcasing a different side of themselves this season, with  Carolyna  Hutchings making a comeback after an eventful first season.

As RHO Lagos season 3 airs its first episode in a few days, let’s reintroduce you to the returning housewives.

Carolyna Hutchings

After an eventful first season,  Carolyna  Hutchings took a season-long break from the show, and now she is back. In a chat with the actress, she mentioned that viewers will get to know her better this season.

“In the first season, I was trying to observe what I was coming into, but this particular season I’m going to reveal myself—my strengths, weaknesses, and experiences. I’m literally like an onion in this season, always revealing parts of myself in bits and pieces,” she said.

During her time away, the reality TV star was also part of an all-star ensemble in Africa Magic’s star-studded original, My Fairytale Wedding, working alongside veteran acts like Kanayo O. Kanayo, Ini Edo, Ramsey Nouah, Ayo Mogaji, and Tina Mba. Away from her exploits in Nollywood,  Hutchings is the founder of Hopeville Foundation, an NGO that caters to women and children.

The mother of three further disclosed that as a storyteller and a reality TV star, her ultimate goal is to “entertain people, keep them glued to the screen, and make sure that people see that I’m extremely talented and creative.”

Laura Ikeji

Laura Ikeji-Kanu does not feel the pressure to change who she is for reality TV. The beauty entrepreneur, social media influencer, and author believes that although there are moments that she would like to rewrite from the previous season, she’s excited to be back for a third season.

However, this season she has a rule “Let people be who they want to be. Don’t judge people in front of me, and don’t report anyone to me,” she said in a chat. When she was asked what side of her to expect the season, she simply said, ‘Just Laura.’

The mother of three, married to former Super Eagles star Christopher Kanu, has fast become a fan favourite, and this season she is looking to form new friendships and understand people more.

Mariam Timmer

For two seasons, Mariam Timmer has been our resident drama magnet, and this season we expect more. Right from the trailer, we can already tell that the PR expert and chief executive director of Six Sixteen Agency will be serving viewers what they came for this season, and we’re on lock for this.

We can expect to see Mariam showcasing different sides of herself this season while taking us behind the scenes of her enterprise as a fashion entrepreneur and online content creator. Mariam is also a mom and is married to John Timmer.

Follow the journey of these women alongside the new cast members, Adeola Diiadem Adeyemi, Dabota Lawson, and Sophia Momodu, as The Real Housewives of Lagos Season 3 premieres on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv Channel 151, GOtv Channel 8) on Sunday, 12 January 2025.
