Niger State Police Command has apprehended a suspected kidnapper in Kontagora Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect, Nasiru Isyaka, was arrested after paying a sympathy visit to one of his victims at their home, where he was recognised and subsequently apprehended.
According to the police, Isyaka and his gang had attacked Sabon-Gari Mangu Matachibu village, killing one person and abducting two others.
The victims were later rescued through a joint security effort.
